I want to tell everyone to beware of the costly installers and installation policy at Atlantic Appliance. I got a new cooktop and downdraft and was charged $900 for installation after being told I would have to pay COD to the installer. I did pay him $500 but then saw that an additional $400 was added to my bill by Atlantic., which they claimed was for “basic installation” but which I understood to be part of what I paid COD. After much hassle I got $175 back, but the entire experience made me decide to look for another vendor if I ever need another appliance. I have used Atlantic for 22 years, but enough is enough. Buyer beware,
