An orchard/farm with a view that reaches west and north across the Hudson Valley all the way to the Catskills, Fishkill Farms is in the neighborhood.

There’s a farm store that makes available what’s coming in from the fields. There are spectacular baked-there pies and mostly ever-present cider donuts and coffee with which to enjoy the view of the farm fields spread out around and, beyond, the distant mountains. And there’s other stuff, too, mostly Hudson Valley grown or made, to browse and/or buy.

With a reservation one can, in season, pick one’s own fruit, or enjoy the “Cider Bar & Grill.”
