Deer present one of the greatest challenges to maintaining a garden in our area.  Fences and sprays are often used to discourage them from devouring our plants.  It is also possible to select plant that are deer resistant — although everyone will tell you that deer have an evolving palette that often expands to so-called “deer-resistant” plants.
